BANGALORE INSTITUTE BECOMES A MAJOR CENTER OF BIOTECH RESEARCH

Cell Press journal Chemistry and Biology recently highlighted the research achievements of Institute of Bioinformatics (IOB) in its 'Innovations' section. The article narrates the transformation of IOB from a small research center dedicated to biological databases into a multifaceted research institute ideally poised to carry out proteogenomic analyses of large number of organisms which are relevant from a global as well as an Indian perspective.
